New Jersey's Path to Energy Independence:
Clean Fuels
New Jersey could be the fifth state to put a stake in the ground for energy independence by giving consumers the choice of using renewable fuels in the car or truck they own from local sources like food waste and used cooking oil from our 40,000 restaurants instead of from nations that don't share our values. Passage of legislation in Trenton called the Clean Fuel Standard will keep more money in our local economy and reduce the risk that we put our sons and daughters in harms way halfway around the world.
